"The Matrix Resurrections" A New Teaser From The Past Trilogy

The Matrix films have always had a lot of fun with time and their own intertwined narrative, toying with the idea of what is real and what isn't. To keep that theme alive, a new teaser for the upcoming episode goes back to the original trilogy. Take a look at it below.

Original actors Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity in The Matrix Resurrections, which finds them confronting a reality that is both familiar and yet extremely strange. And, in any case, how is Trinity still alive?

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as a younger version of Morpheus (played by Laurence Fishburne in the first trilogy, who appears in old video here), as well as Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Christina Ricci, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Eréndira Ibarra, are all new characters.

The Matrix Resurrections is rapidly approaching its release date: on December 22, the picture will be released in theaters (and, in the United States, concurrently on HBO Max).
